New Release 1.40a available

With the new RiskShield-Client major release 1.40a, INFORM offers new, more comfortable and secure features for information and data processing in the calculation unit “Formula”. The calculation unit “Formula” provides mathematical calculations within decision logics.

From now on, the RiskShield-Client user is given the opportunity to use the following features:

• Until now, it was only possible to handle floating point numbers. The new release allows calculating with various data types, e.g. text, integer (u8, u16, u32), categorical variables or matrices.
• Simplified use of matrices (e.g. for claim history, transaction history, master data).
• Support of various used text processing functions, e.g. determination of text length, replacement of text modules etc.

As a result, the user benefits from various advantages:

• Faster development and less complex maintenance of the decision logic.
• A reduced error rate during the development and decreased maintenance of decision logic.
• The possibility of optimization of the decision logic using a wider range of information.

With these new RiskShield-Client functionalities INFORM achieves a further milestone in extending the lead in development.

Many new important features were already released in summer 2008 facilitating an optimization of decision systems:

• An optimized support in the error diagnose of decision systems.
• The possibility to initiate various time functions for an optimal analysis of time related information in the decision system.
• Dynamic expandability of the matrix format. The benefit is that all information once collected in a matrix (e.g. for claim history, transaction history, mater data) will not go lost by an optimization of the system.
