National Bank of Greece (NBG) – RiskShield also used for fraud prevention for loan applications

At the beginning of 2008 it was achieved that the NBG uses RiskShield for fraud prevention for loan applications. At the same time it supports customer risk assessment.

The NBG is at the top of the European rankings when it comes to the efficiency of fighting fraud and since 2005 one of the customers of INFORM. At the beginning the usage of RiskShield was focused on detection and prevention of customer fraud with credit and debit cards and on merchant fraud. Furthermore it was used to protect merchants against customer fraud. Since 2007 the NBG uses our software solution RiskShield also for detection and prevention of fraud with credit and debit cards at ATMs.
