The Finance Systems Division provides RiskShield software family to support and optimize business processes in banking, insurance and telecommunication. RiskShield is a flexible framework that enables organizations to "step-by-step" upgrading their legacy IT to meet today's needs. RiskShield is already used with 27 insurance portfolios in Europe and the U.S. for detecting suspicious claims. Unsuspicious claims are settled faster and with lower costs, while suspicious claims are detected more effectively. Insurance companies benefit from lower operational cost and significantly reduce fraud losses.

In payment processing, RiskShield prevents 125 million payment cards (credit, debit) worldwide. RiskShield's decision technologies and real-time pattern recognition capabilities deliver an unsurpassed fraud detection performance. It prevents fraud by intercepting fraudulent transactions during authorization. RiskShield is also used for fraud prevention with online banking, mobile payment and for the detection of money laundering and internal fraud.
